Atlantis is Tiercel’s proprietary ultra-high-speed network data storage and retrieval technology originally developed to address requirements within the field of commercial flight testing. The flight testing of modern commercial aircraft requires a system that can store and retrieve high-rate sensor data from thousands of sensors, while simultaneously and rapidly creating live and historical data available to flight test engineers aboard the aircraft and on the ground. Common data storage technologies such as relational databases have proven unable to meet the needs of flight test engineers. In response, Atlantis was developed as a signal-centric storage and retrieval system. The Atlantis technology can be implemented in clinical and hospital environments, aerospace test, social networking, imagery storage and analysis, as well as for security solutions.
